These terms explain the independent matching service provided by Swap Your Test.
Who provides the service
The service is provided by Swap Your Test Ltd, company number 17444620, registered in England and Wales. Registered office: 82a James Carter Road, Mildenhall, Bury St. Edmunds, England, IP28 7DE.
What we provide
Swap Your Test is an independent matching and introduction service for people who already hold a UK car driving-test booking. Extra-time bookings are matched only with other extra-time bookings. Extended driving tests for disqualified drivers are not currently supported. We do not search for tests, reserve appointments, act for DVSA or guarantee that a match or swap will be available.
Your account and listing
You must provide accurate information, control the email address and mobile number used and be entitled to manage the booking you list. The price shown at checkout activates one listing immediately. It is a one-off charge with no subscription. A new booking or further listing requires a new payment. Promotional codes are subject to their stated eligibility, availability and redemption limits.
Cancellation and refunds
If you are a consumer, you normally have 14 days from the day after purchase to cancel without giving a reason. At checkout, you expressly request immediate activation during that period. If you cancel after activation, we may deduct a reasonable amount proportionate to the service supplied before you tell us. The cancellation right ends once the service has been fully performed after your express request and acknowledgement. This does not affect your statutory rights if the service is faulty or not as described. See our cancellation and refunds page for details and the request form.
Matching and acceptance
Pending requests do not reserve a listing. A learner may compare and decline several requests. Accepting one reserves both listings and closes conflicting requests. Either person may end the discussion, which reactivates both listings.
Contact details
When requesting or accepting a swap, you positively agree that your mobile number and email address will be shared with that matched learner solely to arrange the proposed swap. You must not use another learner's details for marketing, harassment or any unrelated purpose.
Completing a swap
You must arrange and complete every booking change personally through the official DVSA telephone service. We never request or store your DVSA password, driving-licence number, booking reference or theory-test certificate number. You remain responsible for checking your new appointment.
Acceptable use
Do not create false listings, impersonate another person, harvest contact details, pressure another learner, seek payment from them, interfere with the platform or use information for any purpose other than discussing the proposed swap.
Availability and responsibility
We aim to provide a reliable service but cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability or another user's conduct. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot legally be limited, including applicable consumer rights or liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence.
Suspension and governing law
We may restrict accounts or listings to protect users, investigate misuse or comply with law. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, without removing any mandatory rights you have where you live.
